But while Delhi simply braces for a bit of cloud and a gentle sprinkle, the situation takes a far more serious turn up north. Himachal Pradesh, especially, is under a strict 'yellow alert' due to forecasts of heavy to very heavy rainfall. This isn't just about getting a little wet; it's about real danger. The authorities are warning of potential flash floods, devastating landslides, and significant disruptions to our daily lives, from traffic snarls to issues with water and power supply.
