Margate's Fall Funfest By The Bay: A Quarter-Century Celebration!

Can you believe it? Margate's beloved Fall Funfest By The Bay is back for its 25th annual celebration, and trust me, it’s shaping up to be bigger and better than ever before! Mark your calendars, because this fantastic bayfront extravaganza is happening on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and then again on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You absolutely won't want to miss it!

This isn't just any local festival, you know. It's a genuine South Jersey institution! Each year, the Funfest draws an incredible crowd—we're talking 20,000 to 25,000 people—all eager to soak up the lively atmosphere along Amherst Avenue, right between Coolidge and Decatur Avenues. And here’s the best part: admission is absolutely free! So, gather your friends, bring the whole family, and prepare for a weekend of pure joy.

Seriously, folks, the Margate Business Association has outdone themselves. They've curated over 110 vendors and exhibitors, creating a veritable treasure trove for shoppers and browsers alike. You'll find everything from exquisite, juried fine artists showcasing their incredible talents to local crafters with unique handmade goods. Plus, many of Margate's wonderful local businesses and community organizations will be on hand, eager to connect and share what makes our town so special.

And let’s talk about the tunes! The air will be buzzing with live music, spread across two fantastic stages. The Main Stage alone will feature a whopping 10 bands throughout the weekend, playing everything from rock to pop and maybe a little jazz – something for every musical taste. Meanwhile, the Kid's Stage will keep the younger crowd bopping with 12 different acts designed specifically for them. Speaking of the little ones, there's a whole world of fun just for them: carnival games, games of chance, and the ever-popular Scott's Dock Wetlands Wonderland, offering a fascinating peek into our local ecosystem.
