Mangaluru Police Deliver Justice: Three Accused Arrested, Stolen Cow Rescued!

In a significant crackdown on illicit activities, the Mangaluru City Police have successfully apprehended three individuals suspected of involvement in a series of cattle thefts, leading to the heartwarming rescue of a stolen bovine. The meticulous operation saw the police team intercepting the accused during an active attempt to commit another crime, underscoring their commitment to public safety and justice.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Mohammed Shameer, Mohammed Sinan, and Riyaz, also known as Badavara Riyaz.

Their capture was not merely a stroke of luck but the result of vigilant policing. The trio was reportedly in the process of attempting to steal another cow in the Bondantila area when law enforcement officers, acting on intelligence and keen observation, moved in to make the arrests.

Further investigations quickly revealed their connection to a prior cattle theft case.

It was discovered that the same group had earlier stolen a valuable cow belonging to K.R. Nayak from the Baikampady region. This breakthrough allowed the police to launch a focused search for the stolen animal, which thankfully yielded positive results.

The stolen cow, an innocent victim in this criminal enterprise, was subsequently located and recovered from a person identified as Ashfaq in Addoor.

The successful recovery and the anticipation of its reunion with its owner mark a triumphant moment for both the police and the local community, which often bears the brunt of such crimes.
