Man Charged After Upskirting 13‑Year‑Old at Xfinity Center

It was supposed to be a night of music and fun at the Xfinity Center, but for one teenage girl it turned into a nightmare. According to the Massachusetts State Police, a man in his early thirties was caught taking up‑skirt photos of a 13‑year‑old while she was attending a concert.

The suspect, whose name has not been released, allegedly used a smartphone to surreptitiously snap images from a distance, a fact that sparked an immediate police response after the victim’s mother reported the incident.

Detectives arrived at the venue within minutes, scouring the crowd and reviewing footage from the arena’s security cameras. The investigation quickly zeroed in on a man seen lingering near the front row, matching the description provided by witnesses.

When officers finally confronted him, he was taken into custody without further incident. He now faces several charges, including unlawful taking of a minor’s photograph and invasion of privacy, both felonies under Massachusetts law.

“We take any crime involving a child very seriously,” said Lt. Michael O’Brien of the State Police. “The safety of our youth is non‑negotiable, and anyone who threatens that safety will be held accountable.”
