Major Drug and Weapon Bust Shakes Lebanon, NH: Three Arrested After Dawn Raid

Lebanon, NH — An early Sunday morning operation by the Lebanon Police Department led to a significant triumph in the fight against illegal drugs and weapons, culminating in the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of a substantial cache of illicit substances and a firearm.

The incident unfolded in the pre-dawn hours when officers were dispatched to the Comfort Inn parking lot on Sykes Avenue following a report of suspicious activity involving individuals in a vehicle.

The quick response and vigilant investigation by law enforcement personnel rapidly escalated into a major interdiction.

Upon arrival, police identified three individuals within the suspicious vehicle. A K9 unit was deployed, and its keen senses quickly alerted officers to the presence of illegal contraband, prompting a more thorough search.

The subsequent investigation led to the arrests of:

• Zachary King, 32, of Wilder, Vermont: King faces multiple serious charges, including felony possession of cocaine, felony possession of fentanyl, resisting arrest, and falsifying physical evidence.
• Andrew M.

  Young, 36, of Barre, Vermont: Young was charged with felony possession of fentanyl, felony possession of cocaine, felony possession of methamphetamine, resisting arrest, and possession of a dangerous weapon.

• Heather M. Day, 36, of Sharon, Vermont: Day has been charged with felony possession of fentanyl, felony possession of cocaine, and felony possession of methamphetamine.

The comprehensive search of the vehicle yielded a substantial haul for law enforcement.

Officers successfully seized a large quantity of suspected fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine, all potent and highly dangerous illicit drugs. In addition to the narcotics, a significant amount of cash was confiscated, believed to be proceeds from drug trafficking, alongside a dangerous firearm.

All three suspects were processed and are scheduled to appear in the Grafton County Superior Court at a later date to face the serious allegations brought against them.
