The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Hyderabad Zone, has delivered a decisive blow to the illicit drug trade, attaching properties worth a staggering Rs 2.36 crore belonging to notorious ganja smuggling kingpin V. Ravi and his close associates. Operating under the stringent provisions of Section 68F of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, the NCB targeted both immovable and movable assets.

The attached properties include a house, multiple land plots, luxury cars, and substantial bank balances held by V. Ravi, his wife, and his brother. This strategic move aims to cripple the financial backbone of the drug operation, hitting the traffickers where it hurts the most – their ill-gotten wealth.

Ravi, a figure with a notorious reputation in the drug underworld, was initially apprehended in 2022.
