Mahesh Babu Backs Nephew Jaya Krishna and Rasha Thadani’s Debut in “Srinivasa Mangapuram”

Just a few weeks before the theatrical launch, Mahesh Babu took to social media to welcome his nephew, Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni, into the world of Telugu cinema. In a short video clip the superstar beamed with pride, saying the whole Ghattamaneni family is “thrilled to see Jaya step onto the silver screen.”

Jaya, the son of the late actor Ramesh Babu and grandson of the legendary Superstar Krishna, is set to make his acting debut in Srinivasa Mangapuram. The film also marks the first on‑screen appearance of Rasha Thadani – better known as Raveena Tandon’s daughter – who is branching out into Tollywood.

Mahesh didn’t just limit his message to warm wishes. He went on to compliment the movie’s promotional material, calling the teaser songs and trailer “fresh, impressive” and noting that the whole package feels “very vibrant.” He especially highlighted the work of director Ajay Bhupathi, saying the director has done a “great job introducing these newcomers.”

When the conversation turned to music, Mahesh singled out composer G. V. Prakash Kumar as one of the film’s biggest strengths. “I’ve been listening to ‘Alale’ on repeat,” he admitted, adding that the melody has quickly become his personal favourite.

The technical crew also earned a nod. Mahesh praised the cinematography, editing and overall production values, mentioning producer P. Kiran and presenter Ashwini Dutt for assembling a solid team. “All the pieces are falling into place, and that’s why the trailer feels so promising,” he said.

With a release date set for July 30, the buzz around Srinivasa Mangapuram is already building. Fans of the Ghattamaneni legacy are eager to see how Jaya carries forward the family’s cinematic heritage, while Bollywood followers are curious about Rasha’s crossover into Telugu films.

Mahesh Babu wrapped up his message by wishing both debutants “all the luck in the world” and encouraging them to stay confident on set. “You’ve got the talent, the support, and the right team – just enjoy the ride,” he concluded.
