In a hard-fought battle on the road, the Longmeadow High School football team succumbed to a 14-0 defeat against a resilient Woburn squad, marking their second loss of the season. The Lancers' defense displayed commendable grit, holding the high-octane Tanners scoreless for large stretches of the game, but ultimately, Woburn's late-game surge proved to be the difference.

The Woburn Tanners, now boasting a perfect 2-0 record, capitalized on crucial opportunities.

Their first breakthrough came courtesy of running back Cam Raymond, who powered his way into the end zone with a 3-yard run, igniting the home crowd and giving Woburn a crucial lead.
