Keep Your Furry Friends Safe: Free Rabies Clinic in Morristown!

Hey there, Morristown pet parents! Got a furry friend at home? Well, you’ll be happy to hear that the Town of Morristown is once again stepping up to help us keep our beloved companions safe and sound. They're hosting a super important, totally free rabies vaccination clinic this coming September!

Mark your calendars, because this fantastic opportunity rolls around on September 19th. You’ll want to head over to the Town Hall lobby, located right at 200 South Street, Morristown, NJ, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. It’s a pretty convenient window, perfect for fitting into your day.

Now, who can come? This clinic is for both dogs and cats! Just make sure your canine pals are on a leash and your feline friends are cozy in their carriers. Oh, and a quick note: pets need to be older than four months, and an adult has to bring them along. Safety first, right?

When you get there, you'll have a choice between a one-year or a three-year rabies vaccine. If you’re hoping for that longer-lasting three-year protection, remember to bring a copy of your pet's previous vaccination record. It’s super important – without that documentation, they’ll have to give a one-year vaccine, and we wouldn't want anyone to be disappointed!

The best part? You don't need to stress about appointments or pre-registration. It’s a complete walk-in setup, which means you can simply show up during the clinic hours. Easy peasy!

And for our Morristown residents, there’s an extra perk! While you’re there protecting your pet from rabies, you can also take care of their annual licensing. Just a friendly heads-up: for licensing payments, they're only accepting checks or money orders, made payable to the Town of Morristown. No cash or cards for licensing, so plan ahead!
