That's precisely what unfolded in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, as a spectacular four-day heritage tour kicked off on September 21, 2026, all in celebration of World Tourism Day. It was a thoughtfully curated experience designed to immerse these young minds – hailing from 12 different educational institutions, no less – in the incredibly rich tapestry of Kalaburagi’s history and vibrant cultural heritage. Bringing this fantastic initiative to life was a powerful collaboration between the Karnataka Tourism Forum, the Department of Tourism, the Kalyana Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KKCCI), and the Kalaburagi chapter of the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH). Sharanabasappa Pappa, the President of KKCCI, highlighted the importance of such educational outings, emphasizing how crucial it is for our youth to connect with their roots.
