It was the perfect cocktail of Govinda’s dance‑filled charisma, Karisma Kapoor’s bubbly charm and David Dhawan’s slap‑slap‑bang direction. Shagufta Ali, who played a supporting role in the film, decided to spill the beans during a recent chat. She laughed, then grew thoughtful, recalling how Govinda, despite being a total perfectionist, had a notorious habit of strolling onto set well after the scheduled call‑time.
