Zepto, Shiprocket and 10+ Others Eye Over ₹25,000 Crore in August IPOs
August looks set to become one of India’s busiest IPO months. A dozen companies – from quick‑commerce unicorn Zepto to logistics platform Shiprocket and housing‑finance lender Truhome – are planning to raise more than ₹25,000 crore combined.
If you’ve been waiting for the next wave of listings, the calendar is finally giving you a reason to celebrate. August 2026 is shaping up to be a packed month on Dalal Street, with more than a dozen firms lining up to float their shares.
At the centre of the buzz is Zepto, the quick‑commerce startup that recently hit unicorn status. The company intends to raise up to ₹8,010 crore through a fresh issue, and it will also sell another 11.34 crore shares via an Offer for Sale (OFS). That makes it one of the largest and most closely watched IPOs of the year.
Not far behind is Truhome Finance, a housing‑finance lender planning a ₹3,000 crore issue split evenly between a fresh issue and an OFS. Education‑infrastructure player Elevate Campuses is targeting ₹2,550 crore, while logistics technology platform Shiprocket has put together a ₹2,342.35 crore package – half fresh issue, half OFS.
Other names in the August queue include Innovatiview India, which is looking to raise up to ₹2,000 crore entirely via an OFS, and dairy brand Milky Mist with a proposed ₹1,553 crore IPO. A string of smaller‑scale offerings from Dhoot Transmission, ARCIL, Ardee Industries, Gaja Alternative Asset Management, Rays of Belief, Hy‑Tech Engineers, Shankesh Jewellers and Learnfluence Education round out the pipeline.
The sheer variety – from fintech and logistics to education, dairy and asset reconstruction – signals that investor sentiment has finally warmed up enough for companies that were watching from the sidelines to hit the launch button.
“With markets stabilising, firms that were waiting are now moving ahead with their IPO plans,” says Bhavesh Shah, Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking at Equirus Capital. He adds that while volatility will always cause short‑term pauses, the underlying pipeline remains robust, and India could raise around USD 20 billion through IPOs this calendar year.
So far, 36 companies have gone public in 2026, with nine debuting in July alone. The momentum looks set to continue, as fresh issues and OFS offerings alike promise a lively market for both retail and institutional investors.
