Industrial Flow Solutions Takes Full Control of OverWatch Direct In‑Line Pump Production

Industrial Flow Solutions (IFS), the global specialist in fluid‑management technologies, used the press release dated July 20 2026 to tell the market that it is now the sole maker of its OverWatch® Direct In‑Line Pump family. The announcement, issued from both New Haven, Connecticut, and Monselice, Italy, marks the end of a years‑long contract‑manufacturing arrangement with SIDE Industrie.

The OverWatch line – which includes the DIP Système, DIP‑Booster, DomoDIP, SIDINOX, DIPCut and a slew of accessories – was originally developed by SIDE Industrie. Between 2019 and 2021, IFS quietly bought the intellectual‑property portfolio and worldwide commercial rights. After that, SIDE kept producing the pumps under a contract while IFS built out its own capacity.

According to the release, IFS has been the exclusive manufacturer since the second half of 2025. The move allows the company to streamline supply chains, embed its own engineering tweaks directly on the floor and, ultimately, offer customers a tighter price‑performance ratio.

Industry observers note that the shift underscores a broader trend: fluid‑handling firms are pulling critical components back into their own plants to safeguard IP and improve service levels. For IFS, the decision also dovetails with a strategic push into high‑value markets such as aerospace, advanced manufacturing, and clean‑energy applications.
