IIT Kharagpur Cracks Down: Three Expelled, Four Suspended After Violent Campus Clash

The university's Central Disciplinary Committee (CDC) launched a meticulous investigation into the violent altercation.

Sources indicate the clash was far from minor, involving physical assault, serious injuries, and significant damage to institute property. The CDC’s thorough probe left no stone unturned, compiling evidence from various sources including CCTV footage, witness testimonies from both students and staff, and detailed medical reports of those injured in the fracas.

Following an exhaustive review of the evidence, the CDC presented its findings and recommendations to the Director of IIT Kharagpur.
