Highway Horror Averted: Wrong-Way Driver on I-395 Nabbed with Dangerously High BAC

A night of ordinary travel on Interstate 395 in Connecticut nearly turned catastrophic when State Police intercepted a vehicle traveling northbound in the southbound lanes. The alarming incident, which unfolded late Tuesday evening, culminated in the arrest of a driver whose alleged blood alcohol content (BAC) was found to be more than three times the legal limit, presenting an immediate and grave threat to countless motorists.

According to reports from the Connecticut State Police, concerned motorists began calling 911 around 10:45 PM to report a vehicle, described as a dark sedan, moving erratically against the flow of traffic near Exit 20 in Norwich.
