Lani Rey Agbayani was last seen on the evening of August 19, when the vehicle she was in became trapped in a deluge of water near the community of Forest Falls.

While he managed to get the older child to solid ground, the powerful currents ripped Lani Rey from his arms as he returned for her, carrying her away into the murky, unforgiving waters.
