The National Centre for Seismology (NCS), our go-to authority for all things seismic, confirmed the tremor. It happened around 11:30 PM, and what's interesting is that the epicenter was located right there in Sonipat, Haryana itself. We're talking about a relatively shallow quake, with its focus just 10 kilometers beneath the surface. That often means it's felt more acutely by those directly above it, even if the magnitude isn't huge.

While a 3.2 magnitude earthquake isn't typically one to cause widespread destruction, it's certainly enough to get your attention! Thankfully, and this is always the most important part, there have been no immediate reports of any damage to property or, more importantly, any casualties.
