Gurugram Fashion Designer Firing: Suspect Nabbed in Dramatic Rohtak Arrest

This was a calculated move, part of a larger scheme to pressure the fashion designer into paying 'protection money'. It's a nasty business, and sadly, it's often linked to organized crime syndicates. So, how did the police zero in on Amit? Well, ACP Crime Varun Dahiya and his team, along with the Sector 50 police station SHO Rahul Kumar, really dug deep. The arrest itself took place on May 8th, in Rohtak, where Amit had seemingly been trying to lay low. Even more crucially, he allegedly revealed the connection to the Kaushal gang, confirming the suspicions about the extortion motive. The police have registered a case under some pretty serious sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 307 (attempt to murder) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention), along with provisions of the Arms Act.
