Future PS Plus Premium classic game seemingly leaked by PlayStation

Sony has now revealed all of the PlayStation Plus January 2024 additions. It’s a great start to the year for Sony subscribers even if you are just restricted to the Essentials selection.

While there are lots of great games joining PS Plus next week, PlayStation UK and Access have possibly for the future and it’s a PS1 horror. PlayStation loyalists have lots to look forward to throughout the year. is imminent, and the includes three PlayStation console exclusives for Q1 2024 alone: Helldivers 2, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and Rise of Ronin.

Not to mention there’s also a selection of great third party multi platform games coming out such as Persona 3 Reload and Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League. All of the above is exciting, but there’s also a huge selection of games joining PS Plus next week. Sony announced some terrific titles, yet some original announcements may have leaked a future Premium classic.

PlayStation UK and Access have possibly leaked Alone In The Dark The New Nightmare for PS Plus Premium. It would join the Premium subscription tier as it’s a PS1 game. This possible leak comes courtesy of Reddit user on the GamingLeaksAndRumors subreddit. Per their Reddit post, PlayStation UK’s Twitter announcement for the games featured Alone In The Dark The New Nightmare.

This tweet from PlayStation UK has been deleted, but there are remaining commenting on the game’s inclusion. In addition to PlayStation UK, the PlayStation Access YouTube channel featured Alone In The Dark in their PS Plus announcement video. Shortly after, the video was taken down and reuploaded with the Alone In The Dark clip removed, but Twitter user captured a screenshot of the original post.

Although not official, these removals suggest a mistake happened and that it could come to Sony’s subscription service in the future. Assuming it does come to PS Plus sometime in 2024, it would be a great PS1 addition. Horror games are some of the best PS1 titles ever, and there’s really not enough of them on Sony’s subscription service.
