Fox Entertainment Studios Elevates Key Leaders: Tafoya and Huynh Stepping Up

Fox Entertainment Studios is making strategic moves to bolster its production and programming prowess, announcing significant promotions for two of its integral team members. Dana Tafoya has been elevated to Senior Vice President of Production, while Cameron Michelle Huynh steps into the role of Vice President of Scripted Programming.

These advancements underscore Fox's commitment to cultivating top talent and strengthening its in-house capabilities.

In her new capacity as SVP of Production, Dana Tafoya will spearhead all physical production for both scripted and unscripted series under the Fox Entertainment Studios banner.

This includes overseeing the intricate logistics and execution of a diverse slate of programming. Tafoya will report directly to Michael Thorn, President of Scripted Programming for Fox Entertainment.

Tafoya’s promotion is a testament to her exceptional track record since joining Fox Entertainment in 2021 as Vice President of Production.

Her tenure has been marked by successful oversight of numerous high-profile projects. Her extensive portfolio includes critically acclaimed scripted series such as the beloved animated comedy 'Animal Control' and upcoming animated hits 'Grimsburg' and 'Krapopolis'. She has also played a pivotal role in the production of animated fan-favorites like 'Housebroken' and successful unscripted endeavors like 'Next Level Chef' and 'Farmer Wants A Wife'.

Before her impactful contributions at Fox, Tafoya honed her craft across various independent studios and networks, including Disney, Universal Television, and Apple TV+.

Concurrently, Cameron Michelle Huynh ascends to Vice President of Scripted Programming. In this vital role, Huynh will be instrumental in the development and oversight of Fox Entertainment Studios’ growing slate of scripted series.

Her keen eye for storytelling and strategic vision will contribute significantly to the creative direction of future projects. Huynh will report to Julia Silverton, Head of Scripted Programming for Fox Entertainment Studios.

Huynh joined Fox Entertainment in 2021 as Director of Scripted Programming, quickly proving her aptitude for identifying and nurturing compelling narratives.

Her prior experience includes a notable tenure at Showtime, where she served as Manager of Original Programming, and before that, she contributed her talents at Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Her comprehensive understanding of the development process and industry landscape makes her an invaluable asset to the studio’s creative team.
