Former Jersey City Resident Apprehended with Vast Stash of Child Sexual Abuse Material

A former Jersey City resident, Michael E. Avolio, currently residing in Scranton, Pennsylvania, has been arrested and charged with the possession of a large quantity of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), according to authorities. The significant breakthrough follows an intensive investigation led by the New Jersey State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

The intricate investigation into Avolio's activities first commenced in March 2024.
