Father Accused of Abducting Children Remains Missing in Lancaster

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies are on the hunt for two nine‑year‑old siblings who vanished Thursday night in Lancaster, California. According to the department’s Lancaster Station, the children were last seen at about 8 p.m. near the 1,000 block of West Avenue J‑8, when their father, David Sukonick, supposedly picked them up.

The boy, Solomon, and his sister, Marozhina, are each about 4 feet 4 inches tall and weigh roughly 90 pounds. Both have brown hair and brown eyes. Marozhina was wearing pink shorts and a white shirt; Solomon was in blue shorts with a shirt whose color could not be confirmed.

David Sukonick, 71, stands 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs around 135 pounds, and has brown hair with green eyes. He was last seen driving a black 2011 Lincoln Town Car bearing California plates that read “SOLOYST.” The vehicle’s description has been shared with the public in hopes someone might spot it.
