Essential Track Work Halts TTC Line 2 Service Between Jane and Ossington This Weekend

Heads up, Toronto commuters! If your weekend plans involve zipping across the city on TTC's Line 2, you might need to make a slight detour. The Bloor-Danforth subway line is hitting pause on service this coming weekend, Saturday, June 1st, and Sunday, June 2nd.

Specifically, the stretch between Jane and Ossington stations will be completely shut down. That means no subway trains will be running through spots like Runnymede, High Park, Keele, Dundas West, Lansdowne, Dufferin, and Ossington. It's a significant portion of the western part of the line, and frankly, it's always a bit of a disruption when these things happen, isn't it?

Now, before you throw your hands up in frustration, the TTC isn't leaving you completely stranded. They'll have shuttle buses operating along the affected route, stopping at all the stations between Jane and Ossington.
