Emmys 2024: Goth Glam Makeup Dominated the Red Carpet

The Golden Globes may have foreshadowed the year's biggest s, but the Emmys 2024 confirmed one of our biggest : vampy lips. If this year's attendees are anything to go by, it's clear we're in for another moody wave of goth glam and super bold lipstick. , , and Dominique Fishback all wore vampy shades of burgundy and plum lipstick for the occasion.

Clearly, they (or as least their makeup artists) agree: inspired isn't going anywhere. How appropriate, seeing as was nominated for a slew of Emmys tonight. More specifically, Barose predicted an uptick in “extra bold, extra dark, extra vampy” glam, pointing to dark reds and “plummy” lips in particular, much like the deep shade Gomez wore.
