DUI Suspect Breaches Detroit Metro Airport Security, Crashes Onto Airfield

A shocking incident unfolded in the early hours of Monday morning at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) when a man, suspected of driving under the influence, crashed his vehicle directly through a perimeter security fence, gaining unauthorized access to the highly restricted airfield.
