Drier, Cooler Weather Rolls In for the Metro Detroit Weekend

Friday’s thunderstorms finally gave way to a quiet night, and by early Saturday the sky was already clearing. The moisture that hung over the region all week is starting to dry out, and the forecast looks a lot more pleasant.

We’ll still see a few scattered clouds this morning, but by mid‑day the sun should peek through, pushing temperatures into the upper‑70s. Expect a high of around 79°F on Saturday, with a crisp night‑time low near 59°F.

Sunday continues the trend – mostly sunny skies and another high near 79°F. Overnight, the temperature will dip just a touch to about 60°F, giving a comfortable start to the week.

Looking ahead to Monday, high pressure builds in, bringing clear skies and a slight warm‑up to the low 80s. Overnight lows will sit in the low 60s, so it’ll still feel fairly mild.

Mid‑week we’ll see a bit more cloud cover on Tuesday, with highs climbing to the mid‑80s. By Wednesday, a new front nudges into the area, bringing the next chance of rain. Until then, the pattern stays dry and sunny.

Later in the week, Thursday’s outlook calls for a mix of sun and clouds and a dip back into the upper‑70s. By Friday, the sun should dominate again, and temperatures will climb back into the low 80s.
