The MCU is largely respecting the classic Kirby‑era design, with just enough cinematic seasoning to keep things functional.

The Iron Mask – A Must‑Keep
If there’s one piece of Doom’s look you cannot mess with, it’s the iron mask. In the comics it’s more than a visual cue; it’s the scar‑filled ego of Victor von Doom, the physical reminder of his rivalry with Reed Richards. Whether it’s a subtle scar or a full‑blown wound, the mask hides a bruised pride. The version displayed on the convention floor mirrors the comic’s silhouette and texture almost perfectly – the angular nose, the slightly beveled mouth opening, and the green hood that peeks over the top.
