Concord Teen Arrested on Felony Threat and Assault Charges Following Violent Domestic Incident

It seems a tranquil Allison Street home in Concord, New Hampshire, became the scene of a terrifying domestic dispute this past June 14th, leading to the arrest of 19-year-old May Hubbard. Police were called to the residence to quell an altercation between a parent and their adult child, but what they reportedly found was a chaotic and potentially dangerous situation.

According to initial reports from the Concord Police Department, the incident quickly escalated from a heated argument. Hubbard is accused of letting frustrations boil over, allegedly throwing and breaking various items around the house. You can imagine the tension in the air as things started to get out of hand, but the situation reportedly took a much more frightening turn.

Things really spiraled when Hubbard allegedly confronted a parent with a knife. Before that, police reports indicate Hubbard grabbed a drinking glass, held it menacingly over a woman's head, and then, instead of throwing it at her, smashed it onto the floor. But the alleged threats didn't stop there. Hubbard then reportedly ran into the kitchen, grabbed a knife, and walked toward a man while holding it over their head, making the chilling statement, "I am going to kill you." When asked to stop, Hubbard allegedly responded by kicking the man in the legs. It sounds like a truly harrowing experience for those involved.

The situation reportedly involved another person too. Hubbard is also accused of grabbing a soda bottle and throwing it at a second teenager, striking them in the back. Police apparently confirmed the impact, noting a visible mark. And just to add to the destruction, the contents of the soda bottle were then allegedly emptied onto the floor.

Given the severity of these accusations, Hubbard now faces a slew of charges stemming from the June 14th incident. These include a felony count of criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, criminal mischief, domestic violence-simple assault, two additional simple assault charges, and two counts of criminal threatening. Quite a list, highlighting the serious nature of the alleged actions.

When appearing in Concord District Court on June 15th, Hubbard reportedly offered no plea to the felony charge, which is standard procedure in such serious cases. However, pleas of not guilty were entered for the misdemeanor charges. It's a common legal step as the case begins to unfold through the judicial system.

This isn't Hubbard's first brush with the law, either. Apparently, Hubbard was also arrested in August 2025 on previous assault and threat charges. The legal proceedings from that earlier case have been quite complex, with a public defender filing a motion to seal in mid-October 2025. It seems a backlog in evaluation requests led to delays, with Hubbard finally undergoing a competency evaluation via video in early March. A status hearing was then held on April 6th, and another competency hearing is reportedly booked for July 30th. This ongoing legal history adds another layer to the current situation.
