Snow and below freezing temperatures are expected to snarl road conditions across Colorado as several cold fronts are in the forecast to bring the coldest weather of the season through this weekend. Loveland Pass is closed in both directions between Interstate 70 and the Arapahoe Basin ski area for safety concerns, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. Highway cameras show snow packed roads with no visible pavement. Vehicles carrying hazardous materials should stage at Eisenhower Tunnel on I 70 and will be run at the top of the hour as traffic allows, according to CDOT.
