According to Deadline, actor‑writer Colman Domingo has partnered with director Robert O’Hara, the mind behind the provocative stage hit Slave Play, to pen a screenplay that puts Tiana, Disney’s first Black princess, front and center.

The duo says the project is still in its “early days.” In other words, Disney can still decide whether to green‑light the film, send it back to the drawing board, or simply let it sit on a shelf.
