In a recent interview with SI, Rhodes the challenge, acknowledging the star studded roster but expressing unwavering determination.

Cody Rhodes says he’s not flinching when it comes to the competition to main event 40: “The Rock is The Great One he’s still electrifying, CM Punk is one of the greatest stars in the history of wrestling. I know what I’m up against. Look at the roster it’s loaded… It will be interesting to see what the outcome unfolds at this year’s Royal Rumble scheduled to take place on 27th January.

CM Punk sent a message to Cody Rhodes on WWE RAW Drew McIntyre on the latest WWE RAW by expressing frustration over Damian Priest’s interference in his previous match against Seth Rollins. Additionally, he shared some pointed remarks about Punk’s standing in WWE. He suggested that he should follow Punk example and leave WWE only to return to a hero’s welcome after years.

Following the remarks on CM Punk, Punk him, and both engaged in a heated confrontation. Punk specifically mentioned that opponents like Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, and Cody Rhodes won’t be able to prevent his victory in the Royal Rumble. The segment ended with CM Punk declared his intention to eliminate Drew McIntyre last in the Royal Rumble.
