BJP National President Nitin Nabin vows the party will be back in power in Uttarakhand by 2027

At a packed meeting of the BJP’s Extended State Working Committee in Haldwani, National President Nitin Nabin made a simple, yet bold claim – the party will once more lead the government in Uttarakhand after the 2027 elections.

Speaking in a tone that mixed confidence with a dash of humility, Nabin highlighted the so‑called “double‑engine” government that’s been chugging along under Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. He said the administration’s resolve to push development projects forward has already earned the trust of the people.

“I see a deep‑seated confidence in the public and an unwavering commitment from the Chief Minister to welfare and development,” Nabin said. “Together, we’ll make sure a BJP government is back in power in 2027.”

He didn’t stop at the state level. Nabin referred to the party’s organisational strength in Panchayat and local‑body elections, calling it a “triple‑engine” force that adds another layer of momentum. “Whether it’s village councils or municipal bodies, our engine is running on three cylinders,” he added, a little chuckle slipping into the room.

The president also reminded everyone that with greater public trust comes greater responsibility. “The more confidence people place in us, the more accountable we become. We accept that as a solemn promise,” he said, pausing as if to let the words sink in.

Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami welcomed Nabin’s presence, saying the visit had sparked a fresh wave of enthusiasm among party cadres and ordinary citizens alike. “Since Nitin started touring the state, there’s a new energy in the air,” Dhami remarked, his smile reflecting genuine optimism.

Nabin’s two‑day itinerary included a meeting with the state executive committee, dialogues with ex‑servicemen and youth, and a gathering of the Punjabi‑Sikh community in Rudrapur. The schedule, according to Dhami, was designed to let the BJP’s top leader mingle directly with workers and hear ground‑level concerns.
