BJP Firebrand Nishikant Dubey Unleashes Scathing Attack on Rahul Gandhi's 'Vote Theft' Narrative Targeting Gen Z

A political firestorm has erupted following a sharp rebuke from BJP MP Nishikant Dubey against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Dubey launched a scathing attack on Gandhi's recent social media post, which allegedly targeted Gen Z with inflammatory claims of "vote chori" or vote theft. The BJP stalwart accused Gandhi of a calculated attempt to mislead the nation's youth and systematically dismantle public trust in India's robust democratic institutions.

Gandhi's controversial post, specifically tailored for Gen Z audiences, presented a narrative suggesting widespread electoral malpractice.

However, Dubey was quick to call out what he perceived as a dangerous and baseless assertion. He highlighted the sophisticated use of EVMs coupled with Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) units, which provide a transparent and verifiable record of every vote cast. "The entire world praises the Election Commission of India for its transparent electoral process. Even the Supreme Court of India has dismissed allegations related to EVM tampering," Dubey asserted, directly countering the narrative Gandhi sought to propagate.

Dubey also questioned the timing and intent behind Gandhi's post, suggesting it was an ill-conceived effort to generate controversy and sow seeds of doubt among young, impressionable voters.
