Authorities said a Milpitas man was riding his bicycle on the tracks when he was struck by an ACE train Jan. 2 near Auto Mall Parkway and Nobel Drive.
FREMONT — A bicyclist when he was struck by a commuter train was identified by the coroner’s office Thursday. Authorities said Keith Bequette, 50, of Milpitas was riding his bicycle on the tracks when he was struck by an ACE train about 9:20 a.m. Jan. 2 near Auto Mall Parkway and Nobel Drive. ACE trains serve commuters between Stockton and Santa Clara. No one on board the train was injured. ACE trains are operated by Union Pacific Railroad. Railroad police continue to investigate the death, officials said.
