Bengaluru Teen Fights for Life After Alleged Brutal Assault by Mother in Domestic Dispute

Bengaluru is reeling from the shocking news of a 16-year-old girl, a promising Class 10 student, fighting for her life in a private hospital's Intensive Care Unit. She was admitted with grievous injuries, allegedly sustained during a brutal assault by her own mother following a domestic dispute.

The horrifying incident, which unfolded on October 10, began with what police sources describe as a "small argument" between the mother and daughter.

However, this seemingly minor disagreement escalated into an alleged act of extreme violence. According to the First Information Report (FIR) filed by the Sampigehalli police, the girl suffered a broken nose and deep cuts across her face and head, injuries that paint a chilling picture of the alleged assault she endured.

Neighbors, reportedly alerted by the girl's desperate screams, intervened and rushed her to the hospital.
