Bengaluru Car Plunges into Nagavara Lake

A frightening scene played out recently at Bengaluru’s picturesque Nagavara lake, as a car carrying three individuals unexpectedly veered off the road and plunged into the water. Thankfully, what could have been a tragic incident turned into a testament to quick thinking and coordinated rescue efforts, resulting in all three occupants being pulled to safety.

The incident involved a Hyundai i20, driven by Pavan, who was accompanied by his friends, Suhas and Ganesh. Reports indicate that Pavan, for reasons yet to be fully determined, lost control of the vehicle near the bustling Manyata Tech Park area. Instead of following the curve of the road, the car took an unforeseen and terrifying dive straight into the depths of the lake.

Imagine the shock of witnesses who saw the vehicle disappear beneath the surface! However, fear quickly turned into action. Local residents, who were nearby when the car went into the water, didn't hesitate. They immediately raised an alarm and rushed to the scene, their shouts echoing across the water as they realized the gravity of the situation. The rescue operation was swift and critical. The two passengers, Suhas and Ganesh, were initially pulled out of the submerged car by the brave locals who first responded. Pavan, the driver, was unfortunately trapped inside the vehicle for a longer period, making his rescue particularly challenging. However, with the arrival of the fire and emergency services, a coordinated effort led to his successful extraction from the vehicle. Later, with specialized equipment, the car itself was carefully retrieved from the lake.

Following their dramatic rescue, all three individuals were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation and treatment.
