Atlanta Police Seek Public Help to Identify Alcohol Theft Suspect

On the early morning of August 26, around 4 a.m., Atlanta’s Burglary Unit responded to an alarm at 1136 Crescent Ave NE. When they arrived they found the front door smashed, glass littering the entryway.

Surveillance footage showed a lone individual force‑entering the shop, rattling the aisles and pocketing three bottles of liquor before fleeing. The man’s face is partially visible in the still the police released, and investigators say it matches the suspect seen on the video.

The department is now turning to the public for help. If you recognize the person in the photo—or saw anyone acting suspiciously around the store that night—please consider submitting a tip. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
