This information comes straight from the affidavit he filed in connection with the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

Back in 2019, for a bit of context, his total assets – which included those of his wife, Riniki Bhuyan Sarma – stood at roughly Rs 17.27 crore. Fast forward to today, and that figure has soared to an impressive Rs 35.13 crore. Yes, you read that right; it's quite the financial trajectory, isn't it? Such a substantial increase naturally draws attention.
