‘Sister Wives’ Star Meri Brown Adds a New Member to Her Family

Kicking off 2023 in an exciting manner, Meri Brown went from distancing family members to expanding her inner circle. The star of Sister Wives recently adopted a dog, making her a proud pet owner again. A dog from a shelter in Utah became part of her family on New Year's Eve. However, it's worth noting that Meri isn't the only one in the Sister Wives ensemble to adopt a rescue dog.

The addition of the rescue dog, Zona, has increased the family members in Meri's Parowan, Utah home. A single lady yet, Meri surprised her followers by introducing them to Zona on Instagram. She admitted her apprehensions about owning a dog due to her frequent travels, which she felt might not be fair to the pet. Yet, after meeting Zona on December 30, she couldn't resist adopting her the next day. Despite not planning for it, she and her new pet are comfortably settling into their life together.

Previously, Meri Brown, who is also a small business owner, had lived alongside Leon Brown and Audrey Kriss, who owned two dogs. One of them, a rescue pup named Mosby, shared a special bond with Meri. She had also owned a dog named Drake while living in Utah at the inception of Sister Wives; the dog which was deemed a family pet, shared its home with Meri and Leon. The sad demise of Drake had been a part of the Sister Wives storyline.

However, Meri isn't the only dog owner among the Sister Wives crew. Janelle Brown, another dog lover, has chosen her pets over Kody Brown. She grieved the loss of her dog, Jack, in March, whom she took in after her mother's death. She also owns two other dogs. Gwendlyn, Christine Brown's daughter, received a dog as a present in 2020. There are several other pets under the care of the Brown kids. In addition, Logan Brown and Hunter Brown have previously rescued dogs. Kody Brown and his wife, Robyn Brown, however, do not own any pets.
