A Spiritual Journey's Tragic End: Two Ayyappa Devotees Perish in Horrific Periyakulam Road Accident

Just recently, near Periyakulam in Tamil Nadu's Madurai district, two individuals from Andhra Pradesh lost their lives in a devastating road accident, with two others sustaining injuries. It's truly a somber reminder of how quickly life can change.

The group, all devout followers on their way to the sacred Sabarimala temple, were traveling in a mini-bus, sometimes called a van. Imagine the anticipation, the prayers whispered, the camaraderie among them. But then, tragedy struck. Their vehicle, for reasons still under investigation, violently rear-ended a lorry that was reportedly parked along the busy National Highway-85, right there near Thamaraikulam and the Pudur junction. The two lives tragically cut short have been identified as Peddireddy Ramakrishna Reddy and S. Sudhakar Reddy. One can only imagine the grief their families are now enduring, receiving such devastating news. Two other pilgrims, A. Vamsi Reddy and M. Satyanarayana, thankfully survived the initial impact but suffered injuries. They've since been admitted to the Theni Government Medical College Hospital, where they're currently receiving medical care. We certainly hope for their swift and complete recovery.
