A Saturday Morning Crash in Flanders Leads to DWI Charges

But this past Saturday was different for some residents near the intersection of Flanders Road and Bell Avenue, where a two-car collision certainly brought an unexpected jolt to the tranquility. According to their initial investigation, a 2017 Jeep Wrangler, driven by 41-year-old William Rosato of East Moriches, was involved in the crash with a 2012 Honda CRV. The other driver, a 29-year-old woman, thankfully walked away from the incident without any injuries, a genuine relief considering the potential severity of such an impact.

As officers delved deeper into the circumstances surrounding the accident, their attention turned to Mr. Rosato.
