A Kalihi Night's Brutal Unraveling: A Stabbing, Siblings, and a Fight for Life

The night, early Monday morning, really, had taken a brutal turn on Puuhale Road in Kalihi. It was around 1:30 AM when the quiet of the neighborhood was shattered. An argument, we’re told, involving the woman and three individuals, two brothers and their sister, spiraled violently. And then, without much warning, or perhaps after a building tension, the unthinkable happened: she was stabbed. Not just once, but multiple times, in what must have been a terrifying, chaotic struggle.

Imagine the sheer terror. Bleeding and in desperate need of help, the woman managed to break free from her attackers. She ran, bravely making her way to a nearby address, where, thankfully, she found refuge and someone willing to call for assistance. Honolulu Police officers were swift to respond, arriving on the scene to find a harrowing situation. They quickly located the trio of siblings – a 33-year-old brother, his 27-year-old brother, and their 26-year-old sister – who were still in the vicinity. All three were taken into custody without much fuss, arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault.

The victim, blessedly, was transported to a hospital. Her injuries, while significant and undoubtedly traumatic, were fortunately deemed non-life-threatening.
