A Day of Unspeakable Horror: Tragedy Unfolds at Punjab Law College

On March 6th, near the college library, a final-year law student named Palwinder Kaur, just 21 years old, met a tragic end. The accused, or rather, the other deceased in this heartbreaking incident, was Abhijit Singh, her 22-year-old classmate. It appears their story was one of a relationship that had gone sour, with reports suggesting Palwinder had decided to end things about a month prior. Sadly, Abhijit seemingly couldn't accept her decision, leading to this devastating outcome.

The video shows Abhijit confronting Palwinder, a moment of intense interaction that quickly escalated. Then, in a terrifying flash, he pulls out a .32 bore pistol. You can almost feel the collective gasp as he fires multiple shots at her. After Palwinder collapses, Abhijit turns the gun on himself, delivering a fatal shot to his own head. It’s a moment of pure, unadulterated desperation and violence caught on camera.

Abhijit died instantly at the scene. Palwinder, critically wounded with multiple gunshot injuries, was rushed to a local hospital but tragically succumbed to her injuries a short while later. The weapon used, that .32 bore pistol, was later confirmed by the police to have been illegally procured by Abhijit, adding another layer to the senselessness of it all. It’s truly heartbreaking to imagine the sheer terror and pain she must have experienced.

This wasn't an entirely unforeseen development, it seems. Interestingly enough, Palwinder's family had reportedly approached Abhijit’s family some time before the incident, attempting to resolve the tensions between the two students.
