Tyler Perry’s ‘Sistas’ Ups Branden Wellington To Series Regular

EXCLUSIVE: We’ll be seeing more of Tony King on Tyler Perry ‘s Sistas . Branden Wellington , who heavily recurred as the character in Season 6 has been promoted to series regular for the current seventh season. Wellington’s King is a tall and handsome man who has been parking next to Danni and listening in on her phone conversations.

He has learned a lot about her and is obviously smitten with her. Season seven picks up three months after the conclusion of Season 6, as the women face a whirlwind of changes: new relationships emerge, and their perspectives on life, love, and career evolve. Andi and Jordan build a promising foundation amidst Jordan’s decision to run for city councilman, and despite Gary’s betrayal, Andi attempts cordiality for the sake of their daughter, Penelope.
