Tragedy Strikes Ghaziabad: Family of Three Dies by Suicide Amidst Crippling Financial Distress

A profound sense of shock and sorrow has gripped the Krishna Opal Society in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, following the tragic discovery of three family members dead and a fourth in critical condition. The devastating incident, which unfolded late Sunday night, has been attributed to immense financial stress, according to police officials investigating the case.

The deceased have been identified as Gulshan (50), his wife Praveen (45), and their elder son Hritik (24).

Their younger son, Hritesh (20), was found in a critical state after consuming poison and is currently battling for his life in a local hospital. Police were alerted by a neighbor who grew concerned after noticing unusual silence and lack of activity from the family's flat.

Upon forced entry, authorities discovered the grim scene.

A suicide note, purportedly penned by Gulshan, was found at the site. The note poignantly detailed the family's unbearable struggle with mounting financial losses and overwhelming debt. It conveyed a sense of desperation, indicating that the family saw no other recourse to their crippling economic hardship.

Preliminary investigations reveal that Gulshan, who ran a business, had recently incurred significant losses, plunging the family into a deep financial crisis.
