Tragedy Strikes Bengaluru's Roads: Three Lives Lost in Heartbreaking Accidents Near Nelamangala

In a devastating turn of events, three individuals have lost their lives in two separate, yet equally tragic, road accidents. It’s a stark reminder, isn't it, of just how quickly life can change on our bustling roads.

The first incident, which unfolded on Monday evening near T Beguru, close to Nelamangala, saw a beloved couple, Lakshmipathi, 52, and his wife Mangala, 45, tragically killed. They were simply heading home after a day's work, riding their two-wheeler, when a speeding tipper truck reportedly collided with them. One can only imagine the shock and suddenness of it all. Sadly, they succumbed to their injuries right there on the spot. The truck driver, in what's unfortunately a common occurrence, initially fled the scene, but thankfully, police were able to apprehend him later. It’s a heartbreaking loss for their family, a couple just going about their daily lives, gone in an instant.

Then, just hours later, on Tuesday morning, another life was claimed. This time, it was 55-year-old Hanumantarayappa, a daily wage labourer, who met with a fatal accident while trying to cross the road in Anchepalya. He was hit by a car, the impact proving to be too severe. Like the previous incident, the driver of the car initially tried to escape responsibility by fleeing, but police have since managed to trace and arrest them. It truly puts into perspective the dangers faced by pedestrians and those on two-wheelers every single day.

These incidents, so close together, paint a grim picture of road safety in the region. Each one represents a unique story, a family shattered, and a community left reeling.
