TMGM Boosts Para‑Sport Development in Vanuatu with New Three‑Year Partnership

TMGM partners with Vanuatu Paralympic Committee to expand coaching, competition and pathways for athletes with disabilities

TMGM has pledged three years of support to the Vanuatu Paralympic Committee, funding coaching, classification and competition programmes while celebrating recent athlete successes with Prime Minister Jotham Napat.

Sydney, 17 September 2026 – In a move that feels both timely and heartfelt, TMGM announced a three‑year partnership with the Vanuatu Paralympic Committee (VPC) to deepen para‑sport development across the island nation.

The partnership was formally marked on 9 September at the Vanuatu National Games para‑sport awards ceremony. Prime Minister Hon. Jotham Napat joined athletes, coaches and officials on stage, handing out medals and, in the process, underscoring the government’s enthusiasm for inclusive sport.

Running from 2026 through 2028, the agreement will see TMGM provide annual funding for VPC‑run initiatives. The focus isn’t just on a single competition; it’s about building a sustainable ecosystem that offers coaching, classification and competition opportunities year after year.

Vanuatu’s para‑sport profile is already on the rise. The nation fielded a powerlifting contender at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, a milestone that the new partnership hopes to multiply across other disciplines.

One of the flagship programmes benefiting from TMGM’s support is VPC’s “Hub & Spoke” model. Recognised by the International Paralympic Committee, the model stitches together four provinces, training local coaches and giving athletes a clear pathway from grassroots to elite competition.

“Our partnership with VPC reflects our belief that meaningful progress is built over time,” said a TMGM spokesperson. “International competition is an important milestone, but developing para sport requires sustained access to coaching, participation and opportunities to progress. We are proud to back VPC as it continues building these pathways.”

This commitment sits squarely within TMGM’s broader strategy of backing locally relevant projects throughout the Asia‑Pacific region, from community sports to grassroots education.

Founded in 2013 in Sydney, TMGM Group is the official regional partner of Chelsea Football Club and a regulated broker for global financial products, overseen by ASIC (Australia), VFSC (Vanuatu), FSC Mauritius and the FSA (Seychelles).
