The Founders of Pura Vida Are Selling Their Waterfront Mansion in Miami for $17 Million

It’s been four years since Jennifer and Omer Horev, the founders of the health conscious South Florida restaurant chain Pura Vida , scooped up their waterfront home in Miami Beach. Fast forward to today, the power couple is parting ways with their waterfront mansion. On the market for a speck under $17 million, the husband and wife entrepreneurs splashed out $6.8 million for the lavish residence, according to records.

The Horevs bought the place from hospitality entrepreneur Keith Menin, and Menin Homes + Design was responsible for the modern Mediterranean spread’s recent renovation. “They built their business while living here,” broker Dina Doldentayer of Douglas Elliman told The New York Post . “It’s definitely a good luck house.” Located on Miami Beach’s prestigious Pine Tree Drive, the palatial pad has no shortage of A list neighbors.

In fact, everyone from music mogul DJ Khaled to former U.S. boxing champion Floyd Mayweather is reported to have lived there at some point. Originally completed in 1925, the updated and modernized home comprises five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a two car garage, and 6,783 square feet of living space.

The dwelling’s most notable features have got to be the private boat dock and the impressive 75 feet of frontage on Biscayne Bay. Positioned behind gates, the villa is entered through a picturesque courtyard. Inside, it feels a bit like you’re stepping into one of Pura Vida’s breezy eateries. Think arched doorways, wide plank oak flooring, tons of picture windows, a beachy color palette, and neutral furnishings.

Highlights of the first level include a swanky marble fireplace, dual entertainment lounges decked out with custom millwork, and an Italkraft chef’s kitchen with paneled cabinetry, an eat in island, and marble counters and walls. The second floor holds the primary bedroom, along with three additional guest suites.

The former has its own dedicated wing and is kitted out with not one but two walk in closets, and in the bathroom, dual vanities, a soaking tub, and a marble shower. There’s also a private terrace so you can soak up the water views, watch the sunrise, or peek at the pool down below. Speaking of which, the lush grounds offer everything you’d expect from a tropical, warm weather retreat.

The elevated backyard sports multiple covered dining and lounging areas, a summer kitchen, and an uber chic cabana bath. Click here to see all the photos of Jennifer and Omer Horev’s Miami mansion.
