Sinéad O’Connor Cause of Death Revealed

Sinéad O’Connor, the Irish singer songwriter who shot to stardom with “Nothing Compares 2 U,” died of natural causes last July, the Southwark Coroners Court in London has determined. The medical examiner’s office confirmed her cause of death to on Tuesday. “The coroner has therefore ceased their involvement in her death,” according to the office.

“No further comments will be made.” Last year, the office had previously stated there was “no medical cause of death” given, but a direct autopsy was to be conducted” with “he results “not be available for several weeks.” at the age of 56, had been found “unresponsive” at a London home.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sinéad.
