While she might not be physically participating in the Kanjak ceremony as a recipient anymore, the spirit of devotion and celebration continues to resonate deeply. "Now, as an adult, I understand the spiritual significance behind it, but the joy and excitement of Kanjak from my childhood are irreplaceable," she explains.

This year, Raashii's Navratri plans are centred around family and tradition.

"I'm really looking forward to celebrating Navratri with my family," she confirms. The festivities at her home are typically a vibrant affair, filled with traditional customs and, of course, a spread of delectable festive food. "We have special dishes prepared, and the entire atmosphere is just so festive and positive.

It's a time for togetherness and reflection," she adds.

Her connection to the festival extends beyond just Kanjak. Raashii embraces the broader spectrum of Navratri and Durga Puja, which culminates in Dussehra. "The entire Navratri period, leading up to Durga Puja and Dussehra, is truly special.

It signifies the triumph of good over evil and celebrates the divine feminine," she states, highlighting the festival's universal message of hope and victory.

For Raashii Khanna, Navratri is more than just a religious observance; it's a cherished annual journey back to her roots, a reaffirmation of cultural values, and a beautiful reminder of the simple, profound joys of childhood and family bonding.
